With 22 miles of wide, white sandy beaches, Jacksonville is the perfect place to relax or get active during your next Florida vacation.

Visit Big Talbot Island

Nature lovers will swoon over Big Talbot Island. Part of the Talbot Islands State Parks, this natural preserve is perfect for photography and birdwatching.

The island is home to Boneyard Beach, named for the salt-washed skeletons of oak and cedar trees. Visitors can also explore the island by renting a kayak from Kayak Amelia and go on a tour through its beautiful marshes.

Also Visit Little Talbot Island

Hikers will want to check out Little Talbot Island, one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands in Northeast Florida. This island boasts more than five miles of white sandy beaches, a three-mile hiking trail, and a paved path for bicycles.

It’s home to a wealth of wildlife including river otters, marsh rabbits, and bobcats. Fishermen will find everything from bluefish and redfish to striped bass and flounder in the surrounding waters. The fishing is excellent thanks to the surrounding surf and tidal streams.

Have Fun on Jacksonville Beach

Jacksonville Beach features many can’t-miss attractions, such as Adventure Landing, complete with a go-kart track, miniature golf course, laser tag arena, batting cage, roller coaster, and arcade.

Visitors can get whisked back in time to when Jacksonville’s beaches were the playground of politicians, celebrities, gangsters, and socialites at the Beaches Museum & History Park, which has a replica boardwalk filled with photos and displays.

You can also go surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, or swimming at any beach in Jacksonville!

Get Out on the Town

Enjoy Jacksonville’s nightlife at Beaches Town Center, a must-visit destination for tourists seeking the perfect blend of sun, sand, and a lively atmosphere. This charming beachfront community offers an enticing array of boutiques, eclectic shops, and delectable dining options.

Grab a coffee for your morning stroll at Bodega Bar + Coffee,  located inside Jax Surf & Paddle. For dinner, check out Ocean 60 for delicious fresh seafood. Then head to Palmetto for all your souvenir needs!

Go Golfing

Jacksonville is a golfer’s paradise that seamlessly combines challenging courses with breathtaking coastal views. You can tee off against the backdrop of ocean breezes at courses like Ponte Vedra Beach’s TPC Sawgrass or Atlantic Beach Country Club.

These golfing havens provide an unparalleled blend of skill-testing fairways and stunning ocean panoramas, creating an unforgettable experience for players of all levels.

Start planning your trip to Jacksonville!
